Scientometric Analysis of Indian Citation Index (2004-2015): Profile of the Domain of Biotechnology Journals

The Indian citation Index database is a useful tool to measure the citations in arts, science subjects. This study attempts to analyze authors in the field of Bio technology during 2004-2015. During the period of study, there are 5441 articles published from 5 Biotechnology Journals. Among the journals, Asian Journal of Micro biology Bio technology & Environmental Sciences Journal occupies first position with 1947(3578%) articles and Bio Sciences, Bio technology, Research Asia occupies second rank with 1586(29.15%) articles.
